The General Motors brand showed off the design of an electric flying vehicle held aloft by four rotors at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show. The concept, more quadro-copter than car, includes a VTOL, or vertical take off and landing system, similar to what’s used in military aircraft, that can reach 56 mph. Outside of that, details on operations for the single-seat flying car were limited. It was one of two concepts in the “Halo Portfolio” unveiled this year, including a self-driving shuttle. The designs currently are just concepts, not in production.
