Another icon from the ’70s, Barry Manilow, brings “Harmony” A New Musical to Los Angeles this spring. Manilow and theatre veteran Bruce Sussman pay tribute to one of the original boy bands – Germany’s Comedian Harmonists. In their heydey, the six young men toured concert halls around the world in the 1920s, sold millions of records, and starred in a dozen films before the rise of the Third Reich effectively squashed their careers. Through April 13.
